This gecko initially wasn’t quite sure what to make of such a large moth (that’s a 2×4 the moth is sitting on). But geckos are nothing if not optimists and dreams of glory spurred him on (well, I like to think so.). Ultimately a case of so near, and yet so far.
A great sequence. That gecko is so expressive.

Thanks Lisa. It helps to have something to show the scale and the 2×4 does that a bit better than the window screen.

I wasn’t especially quiet. When a black witch moth settles it doesn’t tend to disturb easily and the geckos can be very bold.
