I passed this mother and calf on the road one day. The mother was enjoying the green grass by the roadside while the calf, only a day or two old, looked bemused by everything around it. At least it looked like it wouldn’t go hungry anytime soon.

You know, I didn’t think of that. But that early, the calves just tend to stand around looking mystified. My money’s on the mum!

If you swap aunt for mother then yes! My step daughters were too old to be led astral by me by time I appeared on scene, well maybe!!!
