Let’s face it, octopuses are just plain odd. They change color in an instant. They disappear while you’re looking at them. They shoot off with surprising speed. They disappear into cracks where you wouldn’t think you could lose a paperclip. And, while looking right at them, they will change shape, oozing out tentacles to redistribute themselves in some other place.

Exiting creature and I’m not sure what weirds me out the most; the parrot beak or the scary intelligence.

They’re certainly odd, but they don’t weird me out. Their intelligence is obvious when I see them and see how they respond to my presence.

I love octopuses. They are bizarre but they’re intelligent and visibly so.

Yes I won’t eat them these days because I think they are far too intelligent to end up in a pot.
