
On one of my walks, I noticed this stuffed toy lying on a dirt road. So I dusted it off, set it off to the side, and took this photo. I was happy to see that the toy still looked cheerful despite its ordeal.
The next time I walked that route, the toy was gone, so hopefully someone had retrieved it.

Don’t you know, they come alive when we are not there. I think they run away when their families come to Hawaii, had enough of the city!

Aww… hope he found his way home. We photographed an abandonded stuffed bunny on the beach in Kaanapali, I wonder if this happens a lot in Hawaii? š

I do too, and since he wasn’t there next time I went by I’m going to assume the best. Not sure it’s more prevalent in Hawaii than elsewhere. Kids everywhere drop things I think. I expect you’ll be finding that out soon enough!
