All that was left

A yellow glove floats in the ocean

I came across this scene one day while snorkeling. I didn’t check to see if there was anything in the glove, just in case.

      Neither is too likely. Sea snakes are rare here, as are severed hands, though my fish book tells the story of a diver who was trying to coax a porcupinefish from its hole. The fish bit him and when the diver removed his glove, one of his fingers remained inside, so you never know!
