An Hawaiian Green Turtle surfaces for air

When I was snorkeling a couple of days ago, I came across this green turtle coming up for air. It took a breath and then curled down into deeper waters at a leisurely pace, before disappearing under a ledge.

It doesn’t look green, but like a leopard. I might put in for a name change.

  The ‘green’ part is because its fat has a greenish tinge!

  Me too. Turtles are very clumsy on land, but in the water they’re a whole different animal.
