   Sweet birds Graham. Love the colours. Are they native to Hawaii?

      Native to southwest Africa I believe. I’m not sure how they came to Hawaii, but I think it’s not uncommon for domestic birds to escape and form small colonies in many places.

         Another aviary escapee for sure or cages wrecked by a storm and off they flew.

      They’re also known as peach-faced lovebirds, which would be more accurate for these two, but they do come in a more red-faced version.

      They do, but they are actually quite raucous birds.
