I took this photo of a head of Cauliflower Coral because I was happy about how healthy it looked. Then I saw that I was being watched. This Spotted Coral Blenny was wedged into the coral head, as they do, clearly waiting for me to move on.
Well, it is the last of the month, so time for me to move forward into June and for the blenny to go about his business.

Ah the things we see after the photo is taken and we’re looking from a different perspective.

Well, I did notice him at the time, and there was another one in there too, but I couldn’t get a decent photo of the two of them.

how a blenny knows how to hide – wonderful shot, and a wonderful way to end squares. You’ve been amazing taking part daily as I know that had not been the original plan!

Day one was the only one I had when this started, but as I thought about it and started looking, the brain cells loosened up and now, at the end of the month I have a folder with a dozen unused photos!

well that’s what I thought you said at the start – and that’s also the amazing thing about squares. Once it starts the brain sees the theme everywhere

Yes. I had to double look to see where it was as not noticable at first glance when looking at the coral.
