I was going shopping when the late afternoon light on this building in downtown Kailua Kona caught my eye. Then I noticed the names of the businesses within and I thought, ‘I’ve got no reason to go in there!’
And yet, what does One consider is wealth?

Money, money, money. That’s the only consideration in some quarters.

Nope. I hear that the very wealthy have pretty much taken over parts of Hawaii..including the inherited land of indigenous locals. Such a shame. This building illustrates the point.

Yes, things are definitely out of whack here. There are areas where locals simply can’t afford to live, or can only do so because multiple families live under one roof.
