Even though I’ve lived here for more than 12 years, I’m still not used to seeing some tropical plants growing wild. These Tabasco Peppers, growing in a neighbor’s yard, are one example.

I think it’s great that you can still get that, ‘What?’ Moment. It must help to reinforce the joy of your new homeland.

There are still plenty of those moments here. Probably won’t ever run out of them.

Peppers have such easy seeds to grow. A friend of mine has lots growing in a maintained but wild patch of land

I should plant some. I like peppers.

I just put a capsicum cup in half with the seeds in the ground and lots of plants popped up. It would work for chillies. I actually did remove seeds and put into pots and they all came up. Any visitor went home with some plants 😂
