

I saw this bench, one of several with a similar design, outside the waiting room featured in yesterday’s post. I wondered if there was some significance in the layout of the wooden pieces, but couldn’t find any. But I thought the design was both practical and attractive, even if the view wasn’t exactly the best.

Maybe a good use of leftover pieces – sustainability at work on the big island.

I doubt they were leftovers, but the benches are more interesting than most in these sorts of places.

I don’t think there’s any significance, but it says a lot that they didn’t just put boring standard benches there.
