A’ama Crab molt

I never fail to be amazed at how perfect crab molts are. A’ama Crab molts have the added benefit of being a robust shade of red.

The same with most creatures who moult. They get out so perfect;y. This crab has been cooked in the sun I’d say. Great photo angle too

  Thanks Brian. I believe the crabs have something in their system that makes them black. When they molt they lose that and look red like this.
