A lovely last photo Graham. There’s no stopping Periwinkles no matter where they want to grow. My daughter wanted some in a little garden outside her bedroom. They pop up in various spots in the garden now, totally unattended and ignored.

Their stems are rather fleshy and hold water I think

It’s a pretty flower but the fact that the house is still empty must cause some concern. I hope the yard gets cleared every now and then.

It’s gone through cycles. When they want to show it, someone comes and cleans the grounds up a bit. Otherwise it’s left alone. My understanding is that a bank owns it and that the property will go up for auction very soon.

What a pretty flower, Graham! We had periwinkles in San Diego. In fact I’m using my image for V (vinca), for the next floral ABC post.
