There are a lot of bougainvillea blooming currently, creating swathes of color where they’re planted as hedges or borders. I’ve been surprised by the scarcity of bees and other pollinators around the new flowers. Perhaps this is just a factor of the area where I see most of these flowers.
Graham's Island 
These are one of my favorite plants as well. They grow well n NZ and Greece which are countries I’ve spent a lot of time in, but not in the UK really. The colours they grew are outstanding.

I love bougainvillea! They grow all over San Diego and I grew up with them. They don’t do well here in NorCal, although Home Depot sells them here

They grow like weeds here almost, but they certainly put on a show with their color.
