Abstracts: Raindrops on waxed metal

This week’s Friendly Friday challenge theme is ‘Raindrops.’ (See more responses here.) It was convenient therefore that today, just as I finished waxing some metal parts, a shower of rain passed over. The raindrops beaded up nicely on the shiny surface.

  Thanks. I have to admit I’m amazed by raindrops and the whole concept of surface tension. It seems so mysterious to me, which is why I’m not a scientist.

Lovely beading of water drops, Graham. The red iridescence in the drop looks like glitter! All blingy!
