Shadow selfie

I almost never take selfies. I know what I look like, and why ruin a perfectly good photo by shoving my face in the foreground. Here, though, I made an exception. And yes, my legs are that long.

      The last three significant hurricanes, since 2018, has produced virtually no wind in my part of the island. Very strange, but we were lucky with this one because it maintained hurricane force winds until well past the islands.

              In the end, the hurricane passed north of all the islands, following their line. The day was overcast, with zero wind, occasional light rain and very muggy. Ironically, this morning the trades are back and blowing quite strong, it’s lashing down with rain, and to top it off, we had a 4.4 earthquake about 45 minutes ago!
