   I used to admire the beauty of caterpillars until I realised that most of mine turn into the moth that destroys my grapes. It’s a tough balance, because they also help pollinate my vegetables and other fruit. I feel a bit like a dictator – how many get to live?

      There’s pros and cons to just about everything, including these. I love these butterflies, but the caterpillars just about destroyed this plant!
