You know the expression, ‘You look like a ….’ Well, as a public service, this is what the real thing looks like. I almost bumped into it on my swim yesterday!

This reminds me of a blogger who said she swam into a dead rat once at the beaches of Marseille. Sounded lovely…. 🤢 I’m looking forward to your next post so this isn’t the first one I keep seeing in my feed (unless it’s a spider, in which case this is better!) 🤪
But of course you’re right. It’s a part of life and the sea (too) is always full of dead creatures.

Sorry to have inflicted this on you for yesterday. I admit to having something of a fascination for creatures that have been wounded or worse and that do or don’t carry on despite that. I’m amazed at some of the creatures I see, carrying on despite chunks missing from their bodies!

It is a bit, and I’m glad I didn’t bump into it, but I do think this part of life is interesting too. It’s an integral part of the cycle of life.

Stick, rat, fire charred preferable to get the hair off. Singeing doesn’t quite cut it 🙂
