The gecko is amazing! It must have been quite a ride for it😄

It was. Usually they’ll disappear back under the hood, but this one stayed out the whole time.

Fabulous photos, again, Graham. I just can’t put a gecko below first place.

Thanks Brian. There are several up there with wonderful horns and a certain presence to them.

What fun . I could not make out what the gecko was.. thought it was an island with water around it. I didn’t have my reading glasses on and there was a glare on my computer as at at the mall in the outside food court having a sandwich while waiting for an appointment. Finally got the right glasses out. What fun having a passenger in view for that long on your windshield! The story adds to the shot. Thanks for playing along once again… Now on to your other photos.

Geckos have tremendous adhesive qualities, but his one was a record for me. It looked a bit shell-shocked at the end!

Did it survive the ride or release its hold while in motion?

It survived. This photo was taken at the end of the drive!

Oh good. Same thing happened to me with a tiny frog that attached itself to my car. I rode hundreds of miles with us before we discovered it. It must have been a shock to it to end up in a totally new place.

The downside of such travel is that one can introduce a new species to a place where it will have an adverse effect.
