   I have big dark moths here too. I catch them when they are inside and put them outside. I am sure they fly back to the house before I get back

      I’ve never had one of these inside the house, though I see them outside, under the eaves, quite often

   It does put her in good contrast and she has pretty patterns on her wings.

      The wings are lovely, especially when they catch the light. I think this one is probably a male though.

      It is! It can be six inches across. My moth book says it’s the largest noctuid moth in the world!
