A great sign to show how far you are from the rest of the world. The distance to Vegas is about the distance the other side of Australia is from my place

Vegas is called the ninth island in Hawaii, because it’s so popular with Hawaiians.

Actually, the 8 islands are the main ones in Hawaii. The actual total of islands in Hawaii is 137, which includes numerous little atolls in the mostly uninhabited Northwest chain!

Me too! Deceiving maps, I think. The Peters map is much more accurate and when I look at that I can see it.
