
If only there was another sign! That would help me understand. Needless to say, people walk their dogs here, or just hang out under the giant Banyan trees, without repercussions. I think the main purpose of the signs is in case someone does themselves a mischief. Then the property owner can claim the miscreants were trespassing.

intriguing . . . I have done a bit of trespassing today but no big signs like this!

The U.S. is very big on property rights, so no trespassing signs are common in one form or other.

fascinating isn’t it how countries differ so much – we loved Portugal because you can go anywhere unless there are signs/fences – and even then you probably still have right to roam

yeah the estate owners with their gamekeeping do try and block off, but never for long!
