One of the tables at a local coffee shop has a chess board painted against a colorful background. Not sure whether chess pieces are available for those who want to play. If they do, it’s worth noting that chess is a very geometric game.

A good idea. I was great at Killer Chess where you play to lose. not too shabby on real chess either

I’ve always been very mediocre at chess. I like chess puzzles though.

No idea what chess puzzles are 🤔

Where a chess position is shown, often from former games, and you have to figure out how the game concludes.

That’s too clever for me. Too many variables unless there’s only three or four pieces 😂

I said I liked the puzzles, not that I was good at them!

With a Fibonacci spiral in the background. Too much!

Yes, it’s a good one. I was out shooting squares photos so this was a must have.

I thought the board was lovely. Doubt it would help my game though.

Quite a tricky one too, Graham. I usually get beaten playing chess. Nice table, though.

I haven’t played chess with anyone for years, though I do sometimes play a game online. Not my strength really though.
