Green turtle diving

During a recent swim, I saw two turtles. This one was at the surface, but after it had got its air, instead of angling off as turtles tend to do, it went straight down before swimming away.

Wow an impressive dive. It evidently knows how to control its buoyancy!

  I see turtles in and out of the water. Clumsy on land, they’re supremely adapted to the water and scoot around with impressive speed and mobility.
