Great shots, Graham. We can do our fair share of plane spotting in Faro xx

Thanks Jo. I quite like watching the planes come and go, though I have little desire to be on board!

Good shooting and what a straight line theyβre keeping.

They’d better keep a straight line or they’ll be off in the lava fields!

There are a couple of places by the main road that I can pull off and get great views of planes taking off and landing.

What are your plans here if I may be so bold as to ask.

Sure. π Celebrating a birthday with a few days on each side of the island, squeezing in our favorite places. Followed by a few days on Oahu. Is the volcano still putting on a show?

Island hopping then. The volcano is in a pattern of erupting for 6 to 12 hours, once every week or so. Currently, the eruptions are less dramatic than they were a month ago and the quiet period seems to slowly be getting longer. This eruption pattern is a first for me. Haven’t seen anything like it since I moved here.
