That triggerfish looks like it is lit up from within! Wow! And the red bird..How often do you see them. And I repeat Jo’s question. Were you born in Hawaii or move there and why, other that entering paradise?

The triggerfish as usually just black with those white lines o the base of the fins. It’s when they’re agitated that they put on this show.The I’iwis I see occasionally when I go hiking. There’s a trail I like where I’ve had the best luck with them. I’m English and moved to the U.S. many years ago. My wife and I married in Hawaii 15 years ago and, when we were looking to move a couple of years later, we decided to give this a go! Haven’t regretted it for a moment.

Another cool selection Graham. Triggerfish have great markings and I like the photo of the divers

These triggerfish are generally basic black with the white line at the base of the fins. The markings in the photo only appear when they’re agitated, and not by me, but with other triggerfish.
