I was getting quite the look from this anole. It’s a Green Anole in it’s brown coloration, though clearly not for blending in with the background!
They are striking in a different way when they are brown. They appear to pack a lot of personality!

I wondered why the Green Anole was brown at first. I thought you may have had another species of Anole

We have Brown Anoles here too, but they don’t turn green. They’re a bit smaller and more patterned too.

I like their reptilian look, but they’re only around 6 inches nose to tail.
