Near the end of a recent swim I was looking toward shore wondering where the line of breaking waves had come from. Then I heard a snort behind me and turned to see this pod of dolphins zipping by. I always like how the light plays on their bodies as they go by.

It’s illegal to be within 50 yards of dolphins, but when they whizz by or come check you out, it’s pretty hard to keep that distance. What they don’t want is people chasing dolphins which happens too often unfortunately.
