It’s been a while since I last saw a flounder, but I spotted this one just before I got out from a recent swim. It was moving and thus easy to spot, but it plopped down on this rock and immediately became less obvious.

I don’t know how you managed to spot it at all, Graham. It must be far less camouflaged away from the rock.

Mostly it helps to see them moving, though I’ve seen enough of them that I can sometimes spot them when they’re still.
