I saw this Golden Shower tree (Cassia fistula) on the way to go swimming at Mauna Lani and, afterwards, went back to take photos. The mass of yellow flowers is typical for the tree. This species was crossed with the Pink and White Shower tree to produce the Rainbow Shower Tree.

Truly a beautiful tree with those gorgeous blossoms, Graham. Has a bit of that hanging vine look, too. How long do the flowers last,

I have a Golden Shower tree in my garden and the flowers look similar but mine are a deep yellow. All my guests over summer remark on how beautiful the tree is.
