Dazzling and prolific. There were a lot of flowers on the tree.

We call them frangipani here, and I was surprised to find them flourishing in gardens here in the Western Cape. The scent is as lovely as the flower.

That seems a bit far south for them, but obviously isn’t. I bet there’s sheltered spots in England where they would do Ok too.

Wikipedia says ‘They are native to the Neotropical realm (in Mexico, Central America, and the Caribbean, and as far south as Brazil and as far north as Florida in the United States). They can be found pretty much everywhere they’ll grow!
