Cabbage butterfly

A cabbage butterfly stops to feed. I’m not sure what the flower is, but I know it’s not a cabbage!

Lovely photo, and might the flower be one of the many Senecios?

  Could well be. I just don’t remember what it was and can’t ID it from the photo.
