When I saw the photo I thought, oh a pink frangipani. And then discovered the name plumeria, which I did not know before. Here they are grown as ornamentals in coastal areas in the summer rainfall region, with the white ones with yellow centres being the most common. They have the most fabulous scent. ( I am suddenly reminded that when I was an infant (on holiday at the coast) my mother entered me into an informal fancy dress event wearing my best white petticoat and garlanded with frangipani flowers she had threaded together. Sweet! :))
Thanks, Terri. I hope you plumerias are doing OK. The ones here are starting to flower again on their bare branches. I might post another photo of that soon.

I knew them as frangipani too, but it’s plumeria over here. When will you be posting that photo!

I love everything about this photo, Graham! My plumerias are dormant and parked in the garage to avoid the cold.

Well, next week’s challenge is ‘Sweet’ and plumeria are sweet smelling so maybe that will be my post then. Watch this space, as they say.
