This view of the South Kohala coast is quite typical. An afternoon onshore breeze ruffling the palms with scattered clouds overhead, but still lots of blue sky and, yes, it was comfortably warm.

A lovely onshore ?afternoon sea breeze?

Indeed, onshore and the afternoon, which is pretty typical here.

Likewise here, Graham. You can almost set your clock by the afternoon sea breeze. The peninsula where I live is almost an island (save for a distance of 2 km connecting it to the mainland), so we have water on three sides.

You can’t set your clock by the weather here. It can change from one thing to the opposite in a heartbeat!

We often have an afternoon breeze. In summer I long for it.

There’s usually an onshore breeze in coastal areas. When there isn’t it gets very hot!

It is really. The breeze was more welcome than bothersome.

I miss the warmer weather here ait the moment! We’ve got lovely days but it is so cold at night and early mornings!

It never really gets cold here, at least not at lower elevations, but you should hear people whine when it drops into the low 60s or even, horror, the 50s!

I can imagine that! We can go down to about 5 °C to about 21°C during winter.
