These are the fruits of a palm tree, not sure which kind. I was hoping someone would walk by so that I could say, ‘Looks like this Roma Tomato Tree has a good crop coming along.’ Alas, life is full of little disappointments.

They do look like Roma tomatoes. A lot of palms have amazing fruits

They really do look like Romas, Graham. We still had a few cherry tomatoes hanging on over the weekend. Snow is falling now, so they’re done for sure!

I always found growing tomatoes hard in Washington State. By the time they started to ripen, the frosts were setting in.

We got really lucky this year. We’ve had trouble with too much heat in 2021, but we put in raised beds this spring and with 2 cherry and 2 regular plants we had a bumper crop.
