This week’s Sunday Stills challenge theme is ‘Something to Do.’ See more responses here.
There’s plenty to do here on the Big Island, with outdoor activities available year round. Here’s a selection.

ah yes…island life! I could be happy doing any and all of those things.

The irony is that I don’t really do any of those things, but I do photograph them!

I can kind of relate to that. We get out in the desert I remote areas. My husband and our friends love the adrenaline and rock crawling in the Jeep. I bask in the scenery and photos.

I’m a hiker and snorkeler. The rest I just photograph!

Perhaps my favorite of the Hawaiian Islands (though all are wonderful!) We hope to get there again next fall to enjoy all the wonderful things to do! (Doubt we’ll do any surfing or skydiving, though!)

If you come over, let me know and perhaps we could get together. No surfing or skydiving for me either so no worries there.

I could get on board (no pun intended..haha..just realized I wrote that) with the paddleboard..or even the canoe. I’m heading to Hawaii in a week and a half and I’m looking forward to seeing some new scenery.

I hope you get some good weather when you’re here. A couple of weeks ago, we had a very cool and wet spell and I felt very sorry for visitors who surely hadn’t come here for that!

Looks like paradise and the items fit the category so well.

Alas, it’s not paradise. It has its pros and cons like everywhere, but mostly under sunny skies and warm weather, which is a plus!

To tourists, it can seem like paradise, but when it is your home it is a different story.

I think that’s probably true of any place. A visit is a much different thing than living there.

It all looks wonderful and a good advert for your island. People don’t seem to have heard of Graham’s Island???

Lovely photos, Graham. Do you paddleboard?

I’m not a paddleboarder. I’d fall in too often I think. I like snorkeling in the water and hiking on land.

I suspected as much.

Fabulous images to depict leisure and hobbies in Hawaii, Graham! Hawaii just begs for people to relax and explore fun things to do! Stand up paddling is my top favorite board sport

Glad you liked them Terri. There’s a lot of options here, that’s for sure. Surfing is the big thing here of course, but I see stand up paddlers fairly often too.
