    Wow!!!! This is an incredible bunch of photos, Graham. The snail shell is gorgeous..It looks like it is mounted sideways on the body though. Remarkable that even moving sideways, it could escapt you!!! Thanks for adding your incredible group to the prompt!!!

      Glad you liked them Judy. The snail shells are quite lovely even if the snails themselves are a bit of a nuisance.

          A full-size one is around five- or six-inches-long. The shell is three or four inches. At least, that’s for the ones I see here. They might get bigger elsewhere.
