What a good idea to use the slider.👌 I wasn’t familiar with agapanthus flowers. Pretty! King Kamehameha looks wonderfully festive for his birthday. Not sure I would want to go to that vet. 😆 They did an excellent job with the the library restoration. Great capture of the lovebird!

I thought the slider worked well, though most of today it looked wrong on my computer, but OK on my phone. No power here all day so I’m working off my phone’s hotspot and it’s sloooow. I think everything is sorted now.

They just finished the library building renovation and will now presumably get it ready for its new role as a heritage center.

Kohala is the best place to see the celebrations, because it was his birthplace. They always do it on his birthday, not the nearest convenient Saturday, and there’s tremendous community involvement.

That lovebird is spectacular, Graham! Lovely captures of both with the image compare block! I should mention that the first block looks superimposed under the other one of the Library, at least showing on my PC screen. Great captures of the agapanthus and the sign for life after death 🙂 Hope all is well on the BI with the wind and rain from Hone! Stay safe!

Thanks Terri. I saw the superimposing this morning, though it looked fine on my phone. We’ve been without power since 3:00am and I’m using my phone’s hotspot, which is glacially slow! I was hoping the power would come back on, but no luck so far. I think I’ve fixed it. Don’t know why it happened, but I’ve had similar things in WordPress. What seems to fix it is to delete the problem image(s), put them in somewhere else, and then move them into place!

It’s been blowing and raining all day and the power’s out in a lot of places on the island, so they’re no doubt very busy. It would be nice to get it back before bedtime though!
