We’re a bit out of the way here so we don’t get them. As far as I can tell, here in the US, more parents take their kids to organized events. Less chance of knocking on the door of a psycho or receiving razor blade cookies! It’s kind of a sad commentary on the state of the country.
I think it’s going that way in the UK too. I’ve never been a fan of ghoulies and ghosties, but I do love to see kids enjoying themselves. We had half a dozen, with big sis or brother hovering behind.
