      Thanks Karen. They are one of two native raptors, the other being the Io or Hawaiian Hawk. Ironically, I have a ton of Pueo photos, but hardly any of Ios. Just in the wrong place at the wrong time with them I guess!

    Your first photo drew me in. Took a few seconds to figure out what it was but the shapes and echoes were intriguing even before I figured it out. I thought the birds were some metal structures or sculptures at first! All your photos lovely.
