I believe it’s an old American country song. Life gets tedious don’t it, is another line I remember. I think I heard it on The Muppet Show!

I’m in Canberra and this afternoon it was 5C, feels like 3C. Just felt bloody cold.

Last year my brother visited and we went up Mauna Kea. It was blowing like crazy and freezing up there!
