I while back I posted (here) that next time I was in Hilo I should visit Coconut Island. Last week I was able to do just that. There’s a footbridge to reach the island, which is small and popular. There are some nice views, though the view of Hilo itself wasn’t as good as I’d hoped.
Tomorrow, I’ll run photos of one of the big attractions on the island!

I think it gets a fair bit of use by groups and for weddings and such.

It’s a nice spot. Being a Saturday, it was a bit busy, but still fun to visit.
