      Well, it is a gecko eat gecko world, but it’s quite common to see geckos of all sizes missing some or all of their tail. When they’re in a tight spot, they can shed the tail to distract their attacker. The shed tail flops around all by itself – it’s a little bit creepy. But then the gecko can grow a new one almost identical to the original, so that’s not so bad.
