This is the sixth of my rainbow colors in response to Becky’s April Squares challenge theme of ‘Bright.’ (See more responses here.)
Today’s rainbow arches above Lapakahi State Historical Park in North Kohala. Lapakahi was an old Hawaiian fishing village and the ruins give some insight into the life and culture of those people.
Second is a blue offering hanging outside the predominantly red and green Old Hawaiian Trading Company in Kapaau.
Third is all that’s left of the Bank of Hawaii in Kapaau. The bank used to occupy the whole building, but it’s now used as a senior center.
Something about ghostly about that rainbow. I really like the photo of the shop and the way the colours work together.

I agree about the rainbow. Also on the shop. I’ve taken a few photos there. They have some interesting items and colors going on most of the time.

I’m sure there must be a pot o’gold lying beneath that rainbow, Graham! Did you check? I enjoyed visiting those shops when we were on the BI.

I wish! I do look to see where they end, but haven’t struck gold yet.

Looks like a lot of us are going to sit there Graham 🙂 🙂

There’s plenty of room, and even some shade here and there.

It is, but the park has been closed this past year and still is. It’s because it’s too hard to arrange for social distancing and the like. I think some people still go in there, just park at the road and walk down.
