Into every life a little rain must fall

A good deal of rain was falling onto several pigs running through the yard recently. This one found a little sunshine in the shape of a fallen tangerine, which it carried to the shelter of the cane grass to devour.

Alas, wild pigs dig. It’s what they do. They’re rampant here right now because a neighboring property has been empty for more than a year, so they have a safe area to live.

Exactly! I just juiced some of the latest batch of tangerines, in part because a couple of branches were so heavily laden the pigs would have been able to snaffle the fruit right off the tree.
