On a recent rainy morning I saw this web outside the window. The spider was hunkered down in the center and did not appear much interested in finishing the job. Perhaps it was holding a tiny unseen placard demanding better working conditions.

What a great shot. I can sympathise with the spider as I have moments like that during demanding jobs.

It’s funny because a day later, I saw a similar spider busy cutting out a leaf that was stuck to its web on a windy day, before the leaf caused the whole web to get wiped out.
