What a great bunch Graham. That volcano is amazing to see as you drive to work, then the floodwaters driving home but the duck made me laugh

The volcano was a treat, the flooding, not so much! The duck however was a great bit of luck.

This is quite the variety of pictures. I typed in 176 into my search bar, and all that appeared was route signs for the highways. I was made to clean homes, not use technology. What do I need to do differently?

The number search needs to include your photo archive, wherever that’s located. Some of mine are on my computer, others on a backup drive.

Well, that’s a mixed bunch, Graham! That first is so atmospheric and just a bit scary.

Lots of nature this week, Graham. Nothing I like more than a good eruption shot.

It’s fun to see what turns up! The eruption enlivened my morning commute for a couple of weeks.

My Virginia Creeper vine is infested with Hawk moth caterpillars every year. We patiently move each one to my spare lot, but it is an ongoing task. They are fascinating creatures but make a big mess of the floor of my terrace with their droppings, which is why we move them. Can’t stand to spray for them and kill them, however. Love the big duck.

Very good of you to move the caterpillars. I rarely see the hawk moth caterpillars or moths, so haven’t had that problem. The duck was one of those ‘What the heck’ moments.

I can see an active volcano from my house in Mexico as well. Colima volcano.

oh wow – hope it is of the gentle eruption type!

I’ve felt earth tremors 3 or 4 times when it vented but generally the eruptions are not cataclysmic.

I trust you’re not too close!

80 miles away, I believe, but when I go to the coast it is very near and often vents as I pass.
