Lenticular clouds over Mauna Kea at sunrise

My last photo for January was a sunrise shot of Mauna Kea with some interesting clouds (here). But the day before, the show was even more spectacular with some great lenticular clouds over the Waimea saddle.

    This time of year, it’s still dark when I head out, but not as early as in my last job, when we usually started at 6:00!

The lenticular clouds are fascinating I think. Used to see them beck in Washington State before moving here.
