That bat plant is a bit scary. It looks so ready to fly away. Great photos. I love it when I can finally put a name to a plant I’ve seen and admired. The Hibiscus schizopetalus..

The bat plants are a bit weird. I hope I’ve identified the hibiscus correctly, but it does look right.

Like you mentioned before, there are so many varieties of florals at the gardens, Graham! The bat plant is amazing looking and perfect for the season. Love the speckled orchids!

It’s a popular spot, but spread out enough so that there are quiet places to linger and lots to see.
