Now I want to go to Hawaii again.

I tried to convince my husband to move to Hawaii, but he informed me that since long (500+ miles) road trips weren’t possible, it was a hard no. 😔

Ah, you can drive around the Big Island in a day, and that’s the big island. The others are much shorter drives.

Ooh green sand…pretty yucky

On the contrary, it’s just like regular sand. The green color comes from a high concentration of green olivine crystals in the sand from the cinder cone at the back of the beach.

As much as I love snowy winters, I won’t say no to a sunny winter day (week? month?) in Hawaii, Graham! The green sand beach looks cool (we didn’t make it there last time)! I LOVE the water globes! How clever! That last pics of the pink sunset is wonderful! Mele kalikimaka to you and your family!

Probably somewhat similar.

It’s quite cool and damp here at present, Graham, so you have me mildly jealous. The Algarve experiences winter temperatures around 15C, but it still compares well with the UK. It will be between 6 and 9C there daytime. I will need all those cuddles to keep me warm. Happy holidays xx

Well, it’s cooler and damper today as the trades are blowing again, but I’m not complaining. Happy holidays to you too Jo.
